If you want to recieve an email notifying you whenever someone posts in a forum, go to the root of the forum you want to watch. If you look over on the right at the bottom of the square that contains the list of messages you should see where it says "Watch Forum". If you click that, an email will be sent to the address you have listed in your forum profile when a new message is posted in the forum.
The email will come from
bathroom.wall@hch5.com so make sure your spam filter doesn't filter this out. This is also the email address that any other emails like private message alerts or important hash anouncements will come from.
If you want to watch one or all of the other forums, just repeat these steps on the ones you want to watch.
The forum appears to be smart enough that it won't notify you about your own posts and it won't email you about every new post if you haven't logged in to check.
If you don't want to watch the entire forum, you can also watch certain threads. To watch a thread click on the "Options" link. It appears on the far right on the green bar that has the topic name.
Also as I type this, there is a check box so I can watch the thread that I started for new messages.
An alternative to getting an email is to use the RSS feed if you are familiar with RSS Readers. Vista and Outlook 2007 both have RSS Readers built in. One free one is SharpReader at
http://www.sharpreader.net/ and here is a list of a bunch of other free ones
